After analysing the way snakeskin has been communicated within fashion, for the research of task 2a, I have put together a variety of images which demonstrate the use of snakeskin print, but in a broader creative context and one that contributes to looking at the trend on a wider landscape. Within my research, I have covered the creative areas of street style, fashion application, styling (conservative and seductive- two very opposite types of fashion choices), interiors, arts and crafts, film, celebrities wear of the trend, graphics, illustrations, architectures and many other artistic ways of translating the reptile print. Just like task 1, I intend to choose three of the strongest creative references I have found then discuss the visual codes that can be found within each image.
