This year, Italian designer brand Roberto Cavalli has teamed up with Disaronno to design their third Limited Edition Bottle. A collaboration we have also seen other fashion houses such as Moschino do in 2013 and Versace do last year to display their iconic brand identity and promote themselves in another demanding global market. Therefore, similarly to the other brands, Cavalli becomes a house hold name in both the fashion and alcohol industries due to their recent partnership. The design of the 2015 bottle, which was inspired by Cavalli's Spring Summer 2015 Pre collection, takes on the theme of under the sea and safari lifestyle as we see an exotic vision of signature animal prints and coral reef representation cover this rare luxurious bottle. Disaronno has displayed these two influences by colouring the bottle in white and gold embellishments with orange, brown and black hued detail. As for the under the sea influence, the product has been visually merchandised on a bed of ocean blues, burnt orange, whites and blacks to combine the two natural locations.
Personally, I thought that Cavalli's design was perfect for the classic Italian liquor. It was minimalistic and monochrome but still had that splash of colour needed to liven it up. Also, by taking influence from his 2015 collection, it just made the design of the bottle even more personalised to the brand.
Just another quick thing.....the bottle also denotes a kind of 101 Dalmatians esq look if were going into detail with what kind of animal prints!
Furthermore, not only can you drink in true Italian style but also part of the proceeds from each purchase of the bottle go to the charity Fashion 4 Development whose initial aim is to fight poverty and provide care to women working in the fashion industry and children living in third world countries.
