The work of Architect Zara Hadid (1950-2016)

So two days ago I read in the news that unfortunately one of the best architects to have ever graced the creative industry had sadly passed away. Zara Hadid had worked in the industry for many decades and had won numerous prizes such as the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the Stirling Prize and was also created a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2012 as a reward for her contribution to the architecture in society and shaping a new vision for the buildings around the world in this modern day. Therefore, I thought I would put a little post together in celebration of the talent of Zara Hadid and look at a couple of outstanding architectures that she developed during her career.

The buildings that Hadid was credible for creating were modernistic, neo-futuristic and characterised by geometric shapes, curves and patterns to reflect the unpredictability, disruption and disorder of society. One thing is for sure, Zara Hadid's work will be remembered for years and years due to her clear rhetorical power of architecture and daring attitude.

Here is a look at some of Zara Hadid's best designs across the globe!
