I am also currently studying the snake skin trend for a university project. Therefore, finding some examples of the trend around the city was extremely helpful for the research of my project. My favourite find was definitely the Alexander McQueen dress from 'Platos Atlantis' at the 'Fairy tale Fashion' exhibition at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Not only do I love this dress but it is also a cultural example I had already used for my snakeskin project, so it was great to actually see the silhouette and digitally imposed pattern up close. Alexander McQueen's brand never seems to fail with their garments and even though this dress was from 2010, it looks so modern, edgy and futuristic fitting with today's eccentric fashion.

This coat is AMAZING and it was even reversible with an inner surface of a silver texture for those with a daring, space-kid sort of style! However, I would probably stick to the pink side because the dusty rich pink tone looked too good to hide!

I was not able to get the name of this store but their multi-coloured abstract dress complimented with a croc purse was too much of a fashion statement to not photograph. Even if the dress did kind of remind me of Jennifer Garner's dress in '13 Going on 30' when she performs 'Thriller' at her work party.
