Working with Lord Whitney: SPACE X BUCKET

On my course, I took part in a workshop that involved working with the extremely talented and influential set designers 'Lord Whitney'. In groups of ten we were all given a brief to create a set design that translated a visual concept and a specific object. My group were given the brief of 'space and bucket'. Therefore, we created a set design that surrounded the scene of a bucket that was lowered into a magic wishing well. The bucket contained various wishes that could be on a customers wish list at COW vintage. In terms of visual merchandising and interaction with the consumer, visitors in the store could place their wish for one item in the store into the bucket which would be drawn out by employees of COW at the end of the display. The work shop was so beneficial to take part in as I was able to enhance my visual communication skills, whilst also learning about the creativity of prop design which was helpful in the development of my self promotion work.

Here is a look at some photos of the set design we created.....
